Your dad got lost. We’re at the hospital.

Your dad got lost. We’re at the hospital.

I was thinking about you and what happens when the unexpected occurs. When life throws you a curve ball you NEVER anticipated.

I remember when I got the phone call from my mom. The darkly lit street I was turning down. Your dad got lost. We’re at the hospital.

That wasn’t like him. He was a walking encyclopedia of directions. I could count on him whenever I got stuck in traffic. He would know the exact side street to take. Map not needed.

I could feel my mom’s anxiety through the phone. Her voice shaking with concern. They’re running some tests. We’ll know more soon.

You have moments like that. Memories that are forever etched into your mind.

It would be days before we would know anything. The world slowed down.

You waited.

Waited to hear the results. Waited to know whether or not we’d get to go back to a “normal” life.

This is the game you play when the unexpected happens. The waiting game.

Life goes on all around you. You’re not as much a part of it. You’ve got something bigger on your mind. It holds your attention, waking you up in the middle of the night.

There is a way to get through difficult moments.

I invite you to consider what it would be like if you knew you could handle whatever came your way. Trusted in yourself. In your power to navigate challenges.

Those test results arrived. Cancer. There was a choice to be made. I didn’t need to know the outcome to know that I could handle this.

No matter what happens in your life, it’s important to know how to handle it effectively. You will always experience challenges in life. How you look at those experiences is crucial to your ability to navigate the unexpected in life.

If you’re ready to know that you’ve got this no matter what, then I’d love to support you. I have opened up a couple of spots this week to talk to you. Click here to get on my calendar.
